So we don’t post on here often, but we think it’s time people understand some of our struggles behind the scenes… today’s topic is “Stupid Reasons for insurance claim denials or reductions”…. Today we were notified that even though we have a contract with the insurance company that rhymes with “Pigna”, apparently there’s a secret plan that we aren’t in network for- even though we’re in network for “Pigna”. To be in the secret plan you have to be invited by their Credentialing Department, which has some mystery qualifications that they won’t tell us about. They may or may not communicate with us. If they do, it’s via snail mail USPS letters. So if you have “Pigna” Local Plus Plan, we are considered out of network.
