Our Story
In April 2013, we opened our second location, our North Chapel and Crematory. God provided us with the opportunity to purchase the property from the Mount Berry United Methodist Church. With this opportunity we were able to offer our families in Armuchee, North Rome, Adairsville, and Summerville the same trusted and compassionate service at a very modern, spacious, and conveniently located facility right along Martha Berry Highway. At this time we also built Rome’s only onsite crematory, located at this same facility. We did this so that families in Rome would no longer have to transport their loved ones out of town for cremation. We also have chosen to only cremate for those families that choose Henderson & Sons as their funeral provider.
Our family has been called to serve. It is our passion and our mission. It is truly our family serving your family during one of the most difficult times in life, the loss of a loved one. We have been serving Rome since 1961 and will continue to be here whenever the need arises. It is an honor to serve you.
