Moved out of the city and started a homestead selling organic sourdough & hand-crafted herbal teas. I recently retired from the U.S.

Hi, I'm Kristi along with my husband Nick, and we are the owners and operators of this small veteran owned business in Romeo, Michigan. Air Force after devoting 20 years of service to this great country. I loved being part of the military, along with my husband who also served for 6 years, but I knew that eventually it would come to an end and I would have to find my next path in life. I have always had a passion for health, fitness and nutrition, and consider myself a lifetime student when it comes to all things health and fitness related. I studied Health and Sports Sciences and earned a Bachelor's degree specializing in exercise science. Tea has been a daily ritual for me for quite sometime so making my own blends based on things I have learned just kind of fell right into place as a next step for me. I hope you love all the blends I have created as much as I do! Sourdough has become my recent passion and I am so excited to share it with you. It is becoming increasingly hard to find good quality food at the grocery store which led me to making my own :)

Stay tuned for more teas and sourdough products...I have quite a few more blend ideas that will be making their way to the store soon. Lots of Loaf Choices Next Week
Happy Halloween Friends! Taking a quick break from the sweet treats next week but I'm working on a few exciting new things... Stay tuned for new menu items soon 🤩. Also, if you loved the English muffins a couple weeks ago, I suggest giving the English muffin loaf a try. It is the exact same recipe that I use for the muffins but in a loaf style. It toasts perfectly with the same delicious flavor! 😋 Also, I've included a snip of the pancake mix instructions below in case you are wondering what that is and want to try it 😉. It does have sourdough in it as well, just like everything I make....lol. It's a pretty versatile mix and works for pancakes or waffles. As always, thanks for your support 💗!!! Don't forget to get your order in by 9pm Sunday...for pickup on Thursday, if you are a little late or forget, feel free to message me...no guarantees but I usually make extra 😉.

Looking for a perfect date night next Friday, Nov 7th?
How about a buffet, open bar, raffles and simulated horse races!
My co-worker and her husband are hosting an event to benefit the foundation they created, called Cardiac Crews. They were inspired by their daughter who was born with Tetralogy of Fallot which is a congenital heart defect. She had 2 open heart surgeries before the age of 1 and is currently a thriving 10 year old! 😊
The proceeds from this event will benefit cardiovascular research. All proceeds are doated to the University of Michigan's Congenital Heart Center.
Details:
Friday, November 7, 2025 at Villa Penna Banquet (43985 Hayes Rd., Sterling Heights, MI). Doors open at 6:00 PM.
This fundraiser is hosted by the Cardiac Crews Foundation — an organization dedicated to supporting families and children born with congenital heart defects.
🎟 What to expect:
• A fun night of simulated horse races, raffles, and entertainment.
• Delicious food, great company, and an evening all about community and support.
• All proceeds go directly to U of M Mott Children’s cardiology research.

Good Morning Friends! Not one but two varieties of cookies for next week...in case you don't get enough treats while out trick or treating' 😅. These are way better than candy though...😉. Another productive week on the homestead! The spoiled chickens got an upgraded rain/snow shelter in the woods 🤣. Nick had a little extra freetime on his hands with the government shutdown....so he started on my honey do list 😅 and he did an awesome job on this! I was able to help him finish it up this weekend. This will be so much better than the canopy once the snow starts falling this winter ❄️.

Pumpkin Spice Scones! 🎃
Good Morning Friends! Back by popular demand...😍 the pumpkin spice scones. If you didn't have these last time I made them, I highly suggest giving them a try. This may be the last time I offer this flavor for the season 😭. The pumpkin in the recipe adds the perfect amount of moisture and the maple brown sugar icing is my favorite part! Also, soup season is well under way so, the rustic soup bowls are back! These bowls are my traditional rustic loaf but 1/3 of the size. They hold up really well for all kinds of soup, just cut out the center and add your favorite soup 🍲. As always, thanks for your support 💗!!! Well... That's a wrap for English muffins! ✅ The last ones came off the stovetop at about 7pm 🥱. In the past two weeks I made 445 muffins 🤯. I know everyone loves them so much, which is why I do it 🥰❤️ because honestly they are one of the most time consuming things I make 🙃. Thanks for all your orders and supporting my small business... I'm going to get some sleep now after I pack all these up 😅.

Heads up... I'm having issues with my pay links on my website... You should still be able to order but the wrong menu may be showing or no menu at all when you go to order...😫. If you have any issues let me know... This is the correct menu for next week.
