Yesterday was a special day at Orchard Grove Senior Living as we celebrated not one, but two wonderful birthdays! 🎉🎂

Our ADHS, Beth, and one of our independent living residents, Bonnie, shared their special day—making it even more meaningful for our community.

To make Bonnie’s day extra memorable, our birthday committee surprised her right at her door with a cheerful rendition of “Happy Birthday”! 🎶 It was a moment filled with smiles, laughter, and heartfelt celebration.

We love creating these joyful experiences and celebrating the amazing individuals who make our community feel like home. 💛

This morning at Orchard Grove Senior Living, we were excited to host our very first Monthly Breakfast Club! 🍳☀️
This special event was created to encourage independence while supporting an engaging, independent living lifestyle for our residents. Each month, two residents will take the lead in hosting—planning and bringing the breakfast together alongside our Lifestyle Director, Skyler.
Today’s delicious menu included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, a bagel bar, a yogurt parfait bar, and of course, a fresh fruit bowl! 🥓🥯🍓
We’re so proud of the teamwork, creativity, and community spirit that made this morning such a success. We can’t wait to see what next month’s hosts have in store!

Last week at Orchard Grove Senior Living, we were excited to launch our brand-new Birthday Committee! 🎉

Each month, our wonderful residents will come together to help plan special birthday surprises for their neighbors. On each resident’s big day, two committee members—along with Ted—will deliver a birthday cake right to their door, complete with a card and a sweet treat. 🎂💌

It’s all about spreading joy, building connections, and making every birthday feel extra special. So far, we’re off to a fantastic start, and we can’t wait to keep the celebrations going!

We had some very special guests visit us at Orchard Grove Senior Living, and what a wonderful day it was! 🐐🐇🦆🐓

The Untamed 4-H group stopped by and brought along some adorable animals, including rabbits, goats, ducks, and chickens for our residents to meet and spend time with. There were so many smiles, laughs, and sweet moments shared throughout the visit!

It was a beautiful day filled with joy, connection, and a little bit of farmyard fun. We’re so grateful for experiences like these that brighten everyone’s day! 💛

On Friday at Orchard Grove Senior Living, our weekly Happy Hour took us out of this world! 🚀✨

We celebrated the Artemis II mission with a fun, space-themed gathering featuring cosmic décor and delicious “cosmos” to sip and enjoy. 🌌🍸 Residents had a blast embracing the theme, sharing laughs, and learning a little about this exciting step in space exploration.

From the stars above to the smiles all around, it was truly a stellar afternoon! 💫

Our Independent Living residents put together thoughtful treat bags for our amazing therapy team and personally delivered them as a small token of appreciation for all the care, dedication, and support they provide each and every day.

To make the day even better, we enjoyed a lovely spring walk together—soaking up the sunshine and fresh air! 🌷☀️

Yesterday, our residents at Orchard Grove Senior Living had the pleasure of visiting the Pontiac Transportation Museum for the very first time—and what a wonderful experience it was! 🚗✨

We enjoyed stepping back in time, reminiscing about classic cars, and sharing personal stories and memories connected to some of the vehicles on display. It was truly a special day filled with laughter, nostalgia, and great conversation.

We highly recommend a visit to this amazing museum—you won’t be disappointed!

Every Wednesday, we enjoy Wind Down Wednesday—a perfect time to relax, connect, and ease into the evening. And on Fridays, we turn things up with our weekly Happy Hour! 🍹

One of our favorite parts? Getting creative with themed drinks! From festive flavors to fun presentations, our residents love helping come up with unique beverages that match each week’s theme.

had a wonderful time celebrating the season with one of our favorite traditions—Easter egg decorating! 🐣✨

This year, we used a unique and creative technique with shaving and crayon, and the results were absolutely beautiful. It’s an activity we look forward to every year, and it’s always a big hit with our residents!

The smiles, laughter, and colorful creations made it a truly special day. 💛 We love keeping traditions alive while adding a fun twist!
