Uintah Basin Healthcare

Uintah Basin Healthcare Our mission is to foster health & healing... every person, every time.

Our organization has been striving to serve the needs of our region since we were established in 1944. Uintah Basin Healthcare strives to be a standard of excellence and cooperation in assisting the people of the Uintah Basin in becoming the healthiest people in Utah. As a 501-C3, not-for-profit corporation, the corporate name of the healthcare system is Uintah Basin Healthcare, with the hospital name remaining Uintah Basin Medical Center. Uintah Basin Healthcare has progressively expanded by adding more physicians and specialties, and by expanding their facilities. The objective has been to provide more specialized healthcare services locally so residents don't have to travel long distances to the Wasatch Front when specialized medical services are needed. We are proud to be a part of this community, and with your help and loyalty, we can continue to provide health services that you can depend on.

We're so thankful to have been a part of another amazing Altamont Resiliency week! We had a great time on Monday with Trevor, our Respiratory Department Manager, who taught the kids about the dangers of smoking in a fun, hands-on way.

Each holiday season, we host a Giving Challenge, and every year, we’re blown away by the generosity of the incredible teams here at UBH.

This year, UBH team members gave back by:

Donating toys for Sub 4 Santa. Or contributing monetarily via an online donation form to support local food banks.

Together, we raised an incredible $6,906.31 to support our local food banks and Sub 4 Santa programs. In addition to these generous donations, we contributed $500, along with 30 boxes of diapers and 20 boxes of wipes, all to support families across the Uintah Basin.

Thank you to everyone for making such a meaningful difference this holiday season.

Miss Duchesne County’s Teen, Caydance Carter, donated 50+ stuffed animals to Uintah Basin Healthcare to help make hospital visits a little less scary, because let’s be honest, everything is better with a stuffed animal.

Her community service initiative, “Be a Service Superhero,” is all about making someone’s day through service. And yes… she’s even rocking a cast herself due to a wrestling injury, pure coincidence. You don’t need a cape to be a superhero - just a big heart.
