SUPERSTAR SPOTLIGHT ⭐

A Northeast Ohio native, Dr. Jason Kolb attended Wheaton College in Illinois and then Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, completing an emergency medicine residency at Akron General. After practicing emergency medicine for 20 years, a skiing accident led to a transition into the field of addiction medicine. Board certified in addiction medicine; Dr. Kolb discovered a passion for the office-based practice of addiction recovery.

In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Kolb teaches part-time at NEOMED and greatly enjoys working with students. They also teach emergency medicine residents at Summa and help direct Summa’s First Step recovery program. Outside of medicine, he enjoys swimming for exercise, loves to read and write, and enjoys time with four children, wife and an adorable lap dog named Daisy.

We are very proud to have him aboard here at NEOMED Health Care 👨‍⚕️
