Stay Safe in the Heat! ☀️🔥
Heat exhaustion can affect both humans and dogs. Know the signs:
**For Humans:**
- Heavy sweating
- Weakness or dizziness
- Nausea or headache
- Muscle cramps

**For Dogs:**
- Excessive panting
- Drooling
- Weakness or lethargy
- Vomiting

**Tips to Prevent Heat Exhaustion:**
🌳 Stay in shaded, cool areas
💧 Drink plenty of water
🧴 Use fans or air conditioning when possible
⛑️ Limit outdoor activities during peak heat
🐶 Provide fresh water and shade for your furry friends

If you or your dog show symptoms of heat exhaustion, act quickly: move to a cool place, hydrate, and seek veterinary or medical attention immediately. Stay cool and safe! 🧡🌞

I would like to take a moment to recognize a newer nonprofit organization in Hawaii, Aloha Animal Alliance. They are doing commendable work by providing public vaccination clinics and spay/neuter services, similar to the initiatives offered by LA County Animal Care and Control.
