Mission Point of Roscommon, previously The Lighthouse at Roscommon, is a 118 bed skilled nursing facility specializing in orthopedic aftercare, wound care, medically complex patients, respite care and we also have a memory care unit. Under new ownership, Mission Point Healthcare Services, as of September 1, 2020. We

☕ A Little Pick-Me-Up Goes a Long Way 💙

There’s nothing better than taking a moment to slow down, connect, and enjoy something sweet together 💫

Last week at Intersect of Roscommon, our amazing team was treated to a cozy coffee and snack cart—complete with all the fixings! From warm coffee and flavored syrups to delicious cookies and treats, it was the perfect way to brighten the day ☕🍪

A special thank you to Sheila for bringing the smiles, the energy, and all the goodies! Moments like these remind us how important it is to care for not only our residents—but each other as well 💙

Because when you feel appreciated, you show up even stronger for those we serve every day.

The residents enjoyed three days of fun Easter activities. On the first day, we colored eggs—there was lots of laughter and even a few dyed fingers. 🙂 On Friday, we held an Easter party filled with games, prizes, snacks, and, most importantly, plenty of socializing and fun. On day three, we had, of course, an egg hunt. A total of 300 eggs were hidden around the facility, and all residents received a gift.

We would like to thank Dawn and her family for hosting the egg hunt. As always, they did a wonderful job.

We would like to thank Just For Kicks Cloggers for coming out and entertaining our residents during dinner! 🎶💃 The residents enjoyed their meal while watching the lively performances, and they especially loved interacting with the dancers.

We would like to thank Huntington Bank for all the bagged goodies and Family Dollar in Roscommon for the balloons! Our residents have truly enjoyed everything that has been brought in this week.

A big thank you also goes out to the Sheriff’s Department, VSU, Huntington Bank, The Care Team, and Family Dollar in Roscommon for remembering our residents and making this week so special. Your generosity and kindness brought so much joy to everyone! ❤️

Today, we celebrated our oldest resident’s birthday with the staff singing Happy Birthday! 💙

Margaret Neaderman turned 101 years old today. Margaret enjoys her mocha frappés and watching staff and residents in the lobby—and she will never turn down a hug! 🤗

Happy 101st Birthday, Margaret! What a joy it is to celebrate such an incredible milestone with you. 💐

Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating the holidays with family, gifts, games, and delicious food! 🎄✨
Of course, Santa and his helper made a special appearance to hand out gifts, and our staff joined in the fun with a Christmas gift exchange. Even the Christmas elf stopped by with coffee and hot cocoa! ☕❄️
