With all the flooding here and in the surrounding areas, we can make a pretty educated guess mosquito season is going to be extra this year. 🦟

❗️Here’s something most people don’t realize: in our area, mosquitoes overwinter their eggs in damp or low-lying areas. Think wet soil, leaf piles, old tires, clogged gutters, and anywhere water collects. Those eggs can sit dormant for years (some local species up to 7 years!) and hatch once they’re hit with standing water.

🦟 With the amount of flooding we’ve had, a lot of those previously undisturbed eggs are now getting the perfect trigger to hatch all at once… which means a serious spike in mosquito activity.

Don’t let them take over your yard (or your sanity). Schedule your treatment now so you, your family, and your friends can actually enjoy those late night get togethers and bonfires without being eaten alive. 🏕️
