We had a great service this morning. Thank you to the American Legion members that lead the service, to Scott Carr for speaking and sharing stories of his family members, to Lindsey Duncan for the beautiful playing of the taps and to all community members who came out to honor the veterans that rest in our cemetaries. May God continue to bless our great country and the service men and women and their sacrifices for our freedom 🇺🇸

What a great turn out today with perfect weather! Thank you, Martin Herbers for sharing with us. And thank you to the American Legion for hosting the service. Over 200 Veterans names were read and remembered today, may their sacrifices for our freedom and to our country never be forgotten.

Tomorrow morning at 10:00am the Rose Hill Cemetery will be hosting a Memorial Day Service with guest speaker, Martin Herbers, and the American Legion. All veterans resting in the Rose Hill, Dunlap, and Friends Cemeteries names will be read. The weather is looking perfect, grab your lawn chair and come join us! Bring your kids and help them understand what Memorial Day is all about.
