For the last two weeks I have been working with a client that has tinnitus, also known as ringing in the ears.

She had read an article about Reiki and how using a tuning fork along with the Reiki healing modality has helped folks with this annoying problem. When she contacted me and asked if I would be able to help. I told her, we could give it a try, but there is no known complete resolution for this issue other than surgery. But even then, there is no guarantee the noises will be gone.

We set up 4 sessions and I used Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, Reflexology, and the tuning fork along with a singing bowl. On the last session we also did a laying on of stones along with the other modalities.
She reports that the noise has quieted down considerably.

I am hopeful she will continue to have less annoying noises in the future.

What a COLD WEEKEND!!! We braved the cold with the Arts and Craft Fair and some of the artists in the community were able to meet one another as well as some folks that loved their arts, crafts, and baked goods. The point of this event was to allow local artists an opportunity to get their names out there so if someone needs a unique gift they might be able to find it with one of the artists and crafters that are local.
With the artist, crafters, and bakers' names out there now, the community will know some of their talented neighbors and appreciate them even more.
We want to say a big THANK YOU, to all the folks that came from our community and surrounding communities to support our local artists. That helps all of us to see that what craft we do is appreciated. Which is very important to keep the artwork growing. We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and will stay safe.

The Art's and Craft Fair is basically slowed down due to the fridged temperatures. However, the Jurassic Art shop is open as well as Spiritual Healing and Consultation Office with a few items from a vendor behind our shops. Do if you would like to stop by to see the Art Shop and the newly redesigned office we would love to have you stop by. We have some treats for those that do come by.

We have closed early due to the cold. We will open tomorrow at 11 a.m. at the Art's and Craft Fair.

Day one of the Art's and Craft's Fair in the books. Some of our vendors were unable to come due to their real jobs. So, they plan to be here tomorrow weather permitting.
We want to send out a huge Thank You to our local artists and vendors, Dustin Moore, Debbie Fowler-Cavender, Randy Cavender, and Kim Peck. We were a small vendor site but, some folks this was their first event so now they can say, they have put their toe in the water to see if this would be something they would like to do at other events.
We hope the weather will be kind to us for Saturday and Sunday.

Need to find out who took down our Art's and Crafts sign at Rosewood and Rose Hill Road. If it was taken by mistake we understand how that might happen. If you could please put them back as our signs we use for our St Jude events also. We would appreciate their return. Thank You!

Today, Tomorrow and Sunday is the Art's and Craft's Fair at Jurassic Art Park.
We will have local vendors showing their talents. Come out to Rose Hill, KS and meet some of these folks. There will even be a lady with some baked goods.

This weekend is our arts and craft event. We know the weather sounds a little chilly but we plan to go ahead and have this event. We will have area's that you can step in to warm up, but just being around others helps to warm your hearts as you learn about their businesses and find that unique gift for someone special. We will have a food vendor that will be donating their proceeds to a family in need. Come out and help this family as they work through the holidays.

Today, I got the signs all up and got the first two canopy frames in place. We are to have some high winds so will put the tops and sides on Thursday.
I won't be doing Thanksgiving as I am preparing for this event. So, we are looking for a good restaurant that we can get a Thanksgiving meal so we can go eat and get back here to get more work done.
We received the new rock for the drive today so the driveway will be nicer than it was. As most folks know you need to add rock about every two to three years and this was our year to get it done so it is ready.
Just so much to do and not much time left. It will be what it will be. I'm hopeful our weather will be nice but looking at the weather report, it could be a crap shoot. But we will continue with the weekend plans. At least we will be in the front yard with some good wind blockage with the trees, and buildings to the north side of the canopy area. I plan to have some kind of hot beverage like coffee, or hot tea. We will need something to help keep us warm and we will have the fire pit as well. Sure, pray we have a fantastic weekend to help the donation jar for the family in need. And to give the vendors an opportunity to share information about their businesses and artwork as they help folks find that hard to find special gift for Christmas.

The signs were finished today so I hope to get them placed for folks to see for our Art's and Craft's Fair. We have a few vendors with items ranging from glass art, painted and pencil art, yarn art, jewelry, baked goods, and metal art. There is even a food vendor with proceeds going to a family in need. We hope you will brave the elements to support local artisians, and crafters.

Jurassic Art Park is open for you to walk around and view the artwork. With many folks traveling into town to be with families, we felt it may give folks another place to go that is Free to the public.
And while you are here you can meet other local talent and maybe find that unique gift for that hard to buy for person.

Come join us November 28 - 30. Friday and Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday is. 11a. m. to 4 p.m.
