Summer Kids Yoga & Mindfulness Program
The Laughter Patch Integrative Health & Energetic Healing
This summer I am offering a deeply intentional, structured, and nurturing yoga and mindfulness program for children. Each class is designed to support the nervous system, emotional development, physical strength, and inner awareness of every child who attends.
We will be practicing yoga, breathwork, mindfulness, and sound healing, while also creating space for play, creativity, and connection.

PRICING
$8 per class
Punch Card: 5 classes for $30 (breaks down to $6 per class)
WHAT WE WILL PRACTICE
Yoga (Movement & Body Awareness)
Children will be guided through age-appropriate yoga sequences that support strength, coordination, and regulation of the nervous system.
Examples of poses include:
Mountain Pose (Tadasana) – builds grounding, posture, and body awareness
Tree Pose (Vrksasana) – improves balance, focus, and confidence
Cat-Cow (Marjaryasana/Bitilasana) – supports spinal mobility and emotional release
Child’s Pose (Balasana) – encourages rest, safety, and nervous system calming
Downward Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana) – strengthens the body while increasing circulation
Warrior Poses (Virabhadrasana I & II) – builds strength, resilience, and inner confidence
Seated Forward Fold (Paschimottanasana) – promotes introspection and calming
Benefits of Yoga for Children:
Improves strength, flexibility, and coordination
Supports emotional regulation and reduces anxiety
Enhances focus and cognitive function
Builds self-confidence and body awareness
Helps regulate the nervous system and reduce overstimulation
Breathwork (Nervous System Regulation)
Children will learn simple, effective breathing techniques they can use in everyday life.
Practices include:
Belly Breathing – hands on the belly to feel expansion and contraction, promoting calm and grounding
Extended Exhale Breathing (inhale 4, exhale 6–8) – activates the parasympathetic nervous system to reduce stress
Balloon Breath – visualizing inflating and deflating a balloon, helping younger children understand breath control
Bee Breath (Bhramari) – gentle humming to calm the mind and reduce anxiety
Alternate Nostril Breathing (adapted for children) – supports balance between left and right brain activity
Benefits of Breathwork:
Regulates emotions and reduces anxiety
Improves focus and attention
Helps children manage big feelings
Supports healthy nervous system function
Creates a sense of safety and control in the body
Mindfulness & Emotional Awareness
Children will be guided through mindfulness practices that help them connect to their thoughts, emotions, and inner experience.
Practices include:
Guided Visualizations – calming stories that encourage imagination and relaxation
Body Scans – bringing awareness to different parts of the body to release tension
Sensory Awareness Exercises – noticing sounds, sensations, and surroundings to anchor in the present moment
Gratitude Practices – developing a positive and grounded mindset
Affirmations – building self-worth and inner confidence
Benefits of Mindfulness:
Improves emotional intelligence and self-awareness
Reduces stress and overwhelm
Enhances focus and presence
Supports healthy coping skills
Encourages compassion for self and others
Sound Healing & Play
Children will be introduced to singing bowls and sound instruments, allowing them to feel vibration and explore sound as a tool for relaxation and curiosity.

Deep relaxation for the nervous system
Encourages sensory integration
Supports emotional release
Creates a calming and grounding experience
CLASS STRUCTURE (GENERAL FLOW)
Opening Circle
Grounding, intention setting, and emotional check-in
Breathwork Practice
Simple breathing exercises to regulate and prepare the body
Yoga & Movement
Guided sequences, themed movement, and interactive play
Mindfulness Practice
Stillness, guided relaxation, or awareness exercises
Sound & Integration
Singing bowls and instruments for calming and sensory experience
Closing Circle
Affirmations, reflection, and grounding
Each class is intentionally created to meet children where they are, while gently guiding them toward greater awareness, confidence, and emotional balance.
This is not just a yoga class. It is a space for children to feel safe, supported, and connected while learning lifelong tools for their mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
