✨ A Special Delivery for Our Work Family! ✨
There’s nothing more meaningful than being trusted to care for your own. 💛

Our midwife, Laura, and birth assistant, Jenny had the incredible honor of attending Emily’s precious birth! Watching our team support one another — in the office and the birth space — is so heartwarming. 💕 We even got to work with one of our old friends, an amazing doula/birth photographer, Emarie.

Our practice is truly one big ohana… we’re all family here. 🌺

Wherever you give birth, your space matters. The environment around you can shape how you feel—safe, calm, empowered, or overwhelmed.

At Ohana, we believe your birth space should reflect you. That might mean low lighting, soft music, a favorite scent, or familiar voices. It’s about comfort, privacy, and creating a sense of peace that helps you feel supported in your own body.

Whether you're birthing at home or elsewhere, you have a say in how the space feels. And we’re here to help support you into making it your own.

There’s a lot of outdated advice around labor—and one of the most misunderstood topics is eating. At Ohana, we support nourishing your body during labor, especially early on.

Labor is work, and just like any other physical effort, your body needs energy to keep going. Light, easily digestible snacks and frequent hydration can help maintain your stamina and keep you feeling steady. We’ll talk with you about what’s safe, what feels good, and how to listen to your body’s cues.

Water birth can be a beautiful, gentle option for those who want to stay grounded and comfortable during labor. The warm water helps your muscles relax, supports your body’s weight, and often creates a calm, soothing environment that makes it easier to focus and breathe through contractions.

At Ohana, we offer water birth as an option for those who want it—and we’ll talk with you ahead of time about how it works, what to expect, and how to decide if it’s right for you. Like everything we do, it’s about giving you choices, support, and care that feels aligned with your body and your birth.

Whether in water or on land, we’ll meet you with the same calm, respectful presence. Because your birth experience should feel like yours.

When you’re navigating health concerns, the last thing you need is billing confusion, rushed visits, or feeling like you’re just a number. Our Direct Care model is different.

With Ohana, you pay one monthly rate for access to care that’s personalized, consistent, and unrushed. That means longer visits, real answers, and a provider who actually knows you. You deserve care that works for your real life—and we’re proud to offer it.

Your body is doing big work—but your mind deserves support too. Practicing relaxation techniques during pregnancy isn’t just about feeling calm in the moment—it’s about helping your nervous system feel safe and supported through each stage of pregnancy.

Whether it's guided meditation, stretching, visualization, or simply learning how to slow your breath, these tools create space to check in with your body, reduce tension, and build habits you can carry with you into labor and beyond. At Ohana, we encourage you to find what works best for you and practice regularly. Relaxation is more than a technique—it’s preparation, self-care, and connection all in one.

Because when you feel informed and supported, you’re more empowered to make the choices that are right for you.

It sounds simple, but drinking enough water during pregnancy is one of the most important (and underrated) ways to support your health and your baby’s development.

Hydration helps everything—from maintaining healthy amniotic fluid levels and supporting digestion, to reducing swelling and preventing headaches. It even helps with nutrient absorption and can make a big difference in your energy levels throughout the day.

We know it’s easy to forget (especially when you’re juggling a million other things), but even small habits—like keeping a water bottle nearby or adding fruit for flavor—can help you stay on track. Aim for consistency, not perfection.

Your body is doing something incredible. Staying hydrated is one simple way to keep that process supported every step of the way.
