Good afternoon, relatives!

Wiconi Wakan Health and Healing Center - Native Connections of Rosebud will be hosting a 3-day crafting activity this week from Jan. 13th, 14th, and 15th from 4pm to 7pm.

We are reserving 8 spots for this crafting activity and are encouraging anyone who is interested in the beading small leather bag that you call to reserve your spot. We are beading adult size and youth size leather bags.

Beading and crafting supplies will be provided for each participant.

Light snacks and drinks will be provided.

🏠 Happy January! We've got another batch of Homebuyer Education courses hot off the presses!

📔 The first round of classes will be this Friday, January 9th at the Rosebud Annex building from 10am-4:30pm. We'll also be there for a second class on Thursday the 15th!
🛜 We have an online course scheduled for Google Classroom on the 21st from 10am-4:30pm.
🌃 🚗 💨 And for those who are on a traditional 9-5 work schedule, we have Weekend and Evening courses on January 18th and January 22nd respectively ☺️

when someone is drowning, that is not the time to teach them how to swim

this is not the time to yell at them for stepping in the water

because in that moment they don’t need lessons, they need help.

they need you to reach out your hand and help them
they need to know someone sees them
that someone cares enough to pull them out first

you can talk about how to stay afloat and swim another time

but in the middle of the storm? what they need most is compassion, not correction.

all they need is someone who refuses to let them sink. be that someone.
