Looking for someone to join our team as a Front Office person [full-time 40hrs/wk. M-F]:
*Answering phones
*Scheduling patients
*Checking insurance
*Excellent computer skills [typing, checking/replying to emails, navigate websites efficiently, etc.]
*Data entry/patient charts
*Taking payments from patients [credit card payments, take cash payments and count/make change as needed]
*Submitting prior authorizations
* Filing paperwork in patient charts
*Faxing
*Responsible for filing paperwork/patient charts/files being completed in accordance with HIPAA policies
Requirements-
*Flexibility in work schedule [when needed]
*Regular attendance and punctuality
*Responsible for patient charts/files being completed in accordance with HIPAA policies
*At least 1 year of office experience (data entry, multi-line phones, customer service)
*Ability to multitask and varying workload, without direct supervision
*Detail-oriented/thorough when completing work tasks
*Ability to perform tasks with interruptions
*Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize needs on an ongoing basis
*Ability to communicate with challenging customers, while remaining calm and helpful
*Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges
*Must be able to work as a team player/work effectively with employees and patients
*Excellent communication skills in person and on the phone
*Demonstrate skills in making decisions independently and in accordance with established policies
*Must be able to take detailed messages [excellent written and/or verbal communication skills]
*Operate and general day to day maintenance of front office equipment [printer, scanner, fax, etc.]
*Professional office attire
*This is a very busy, fast paced office.
