I’m not going to post for a while so I’m leaving you with this.

Facials will resume and you can use my space as an opportunity to rest and recover your nervous system.

I’m not going to participate in sharing skincare advice on social media right now. I’ve participated enough and now you can focus your attention elsewhere.

Happy New Year!
As we step into a new year, I’ve been taking a moment to pause, reflect, and feel deeply grateful.

This year marks my 20th year as an esthetician (12th as a business owner and 5th in Dallas), and it’s hard to put into words what that truly means to me. What began two decades ago as a love for skincare has evolved into a lifelong devotion to understanding the skin as part of the whole body — influenced by stress, hormones, lifestyle, seasons, and the many chapters of life we move through.

Over the years, my work has shifted from simply treating skin to supporting people. From learning advanced facial massage and holistic modalities, to embracing plant-based skincare, lymphatic health, and nervous system support — every step has been guided by the belief that skin thrives when we slow down, listen, and care deeply.

As I enter this new year (and this milestone season of my career), my intention remains the same:
to offer thoughtful, personalized care that meets you where you are — whether that’s supporting aging skin, hormonal shifts, pregnancy, stress, or simply the desire to feel more at home in your body.

Thank you for trusting me with your skin over the years. Whether you’ve been with me since the early days or are newer to my practice, I’m so grateful you’re here. Your support has allowed me to grow, evolve, and continue doing work I truly love.

Here’s to a new year, a slower pace, healthy skin, and the next chapter — together.

Misconception #2 is that I don’t believe in the work of others outside of a very specific niche like what I offer. Nothing could be more wrong here.

In fact, I admire the work of many different estheticians. The ones I look up to and learn from all have in common that they study functional health and understand skin function beyond the treatments they offer.

is my go to in Dallas for acne treatments! We share a few clients because it takes a multi-faceted approach. She’s well-studied in nutrition as well as how to properly treat a myriad of skin conditions.
esti is an old friend and esti bestie who has functional health background. With a background in inflammation and rosacea, she’s a great resource.

is an innovator that should be on your watch list. She is making waves by doing the work with case studies published and constantly advancing her knowledge. She’s helped so many FINALLY understand the importance of the skin microbiome and how to support it with home care and treatment plans.

It’s not about comparing or competing when you’ve been an esthetician for decades. It’s about collaborating and working as a collective. 🫶🏻

Year of the horse 🐴 make it a good one!

2026 will be my 20 year anniversary of becoming an esthetician, 12 years as a business owner, almost the end of my 30s, and my first full year as a mommy. Some may say I’m finally a grown up 😝

A friend asked me what my word for 2026 would be and I can’t think of just one - present, soft, gentle, loving, and fun all come to mind. These moments go by in a flash so I’m just excited to get the chance to enjoy all of them with you!

Happy new year 😍

2025 was the most pivotal year of my life. Becoming a mother meant shedding old versions of myself and embracing what I began to believe was impossible.

From having a natural home birth to navigating running a business while on maternity leave, it’s been a ride. Elodie Maple has allowed me to slow down and just enjoy every moment I can with her.

Looking forward to what 2026 has in store for us all!

My gratitude is overflowing this year more than any of the 18 before.

I started 2025 wrapping up a brutal first trimester. Establishing myself in a new space.
Terrified that my pregnancy could end at any moment (the cost of having multiple losses).
All while trying to maximize my time to be able to fund a maternity leave.

Once I was out, I honestly didn’t know how and when I was going to come back.
The support I thought I had wasn’t what I needed or had hoped.
But other support showed up unexpectedly with clients sending gift cards, gifts, meal drop off, and the kind messages just checking in on me as a new mother and not a service provider.

Then I came back with fears but also with an eagerness to do what I love again. It took many trips to get used to being separated from my daughter. But it made me very grateful and intentional with my time away.

You came back or just waited for me. Some of you are still waiting and I am so honored to be an important part of your self care.

Thank you doesn’t cut it but it’s what I can extend to you for now. Big hug and happy holidays my loves! Cannot wait to see what my 20th year as an esthetician in 2026 will bring.

As a massage focused facialist, I’m constantly asking people to breathe and relax their facial muscles. But especially the jaw.

You can practice by letting out an audible sigh on your exhale, stick out your tongue, roll your shoulders away from your ears, and close your eyes. Let your breathe be your guide!
