OPTOMETRIC OFFICE ASSISTANT POSITION

A preferred candidate will greet patients in an enthusiastic manner, be able to multitask, be detailed oriented, and have eye care experience.
Duties and responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling appointments, greeting patients, answering insurance questions, collecting payments, checking insurance eligibility, assisting with pretesting patients, and maintaining office cleanliness.
Characteristics: strong communication and listening skills, interpersonal skills, friendly, caring, strong organizational skills, able to work efficiently and accurately, proficient with computers, quick learner, and a good attendance record at prior employment.
