July is Social Wellness Month! This month is dedicated to promoting and raising awareness about the importance of social connections, relationships, and overall well-being in our communities. We want to encourage everyone to engage in activities that foster positive social interactions and a sense of belonging, such as volunteering at a local nonprofit, joining a sport or fitness class, attending a community event, or reaching out to family.

Come check out our Safe at Home program!

Join us for lunch on August 28th from 12-1. Learn what Safe at Home does, and how to become a volunteer Family Partner. Please RSVP to 541.315.1190 to secure your spot.

ONE HOUR a week, in 15-minute sections, is enough to monitor the home environment, the family dynamic, and the safety of the children in the home. This monitoring is necessary part of children returning from Foster Care. Without support to provide this monitoring, children remain in foster care instead of returning home. By providing this service to families involved with Child Welfare, Family Partner volunteers make it possible for children to return safely to their homes, to their families, to their life, while the family completes their ODHS Child Welfare Journey.

This is an opportunity to provide the gift of reunification for families, of building familial resilience, and of community healing and growth.

Please join us!

Happy Parent Appreciation Day!
Today, we pause to honor the everyday heroes—PARENTS—who pour out love, strength, and wisdom into their families.

At FARA we see the late nights, the early mornings, the prayers whispered, and the sacrifices made. Whether you're a biological parent, adoptive, foster, guardian, or spiritual parent—your love shapes futures.

You are seen.
You are valued.
You are making a difference.

Thank you for guiding the next generation with grace and grit. May you feel celebrated not just today, but every day.

Safe at Home has partnered with H.O.P.E. Drug Court for "Bringing Hope Home Drive."

This drive supports the local Safe at Home Program, which gently helps children transition out of foster care and reunite with their families. By offering support for in-home safety, guidance with child safety plans, and being a steady resource throughout the process, the program helps families move forward together. While foster care can be a challenging experience for children, studies show that the path to healing becomes much stronger when they’re able to safely return home.
