Umpqa Makers the time has come to get off of the couch and lets get busy.
Here is our existing mission statement-

Our Mission is to support, connect, inform, and inspire the Makers of the Umpqua Valley.
We love DIY, art, craft, design, fabrication, music, and rural life.

Does this still fit with the group? I think it does and I am excited about all of it.
I would love to hear what type of events you would like to attend and especially what kind of event you could host!

I have seen several large manufacturing business/utilities in our community I would like to tour, if I arranged say a saw-mill tour would you come?

How about STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math)events for the kids?

Are you interested in energizing this page and supporting its goal of connecting and informing makers in communities around you?
If so, This page and it’s connected group is looking for a new administrator who is excited by all things making, be it stem, craft, fine art, industrial, trade related, fixit, hobby and professional. A focus on the makers, crafters, artisans, in all mediums and at all skill levels operating in Douglas County and Surrounding counties is preferred.
