Meet Dr. McCauley a board-certified nephrologist who completed his nephrology training at the University of California, Irvine. He has been working continuously as a practicing nephrologist since 1997 and has almost 30 years of experience taking care of patients with kidney disease. He has a unique perspective as a nephrologist and truly understands what patients are going through, having personally dealt with kidney disease all his life. He started dialysis as a teenager, and 45 years later with a functioning kidney transplant he is an inspiration to us all, and proof that the battle against kidney disease can be fought and won. He lives in Roseburg and is affectionately known in town as the “cowboy doctor”.
