After my honorable discharge from the Army, I began my journey in the arts which included, stand-up comedy, DJ, musician, print modeling, actor, and much more. I have been involved in the fitness world since I was 16. I have been kickboxing for 7 years and boxing for 2 years. I started as a CKO member, and now I am a instructor. Nobody wants to be "skinny fat" ( skin, weak bones, fat with little to no muscle left)
Fyi, muscle mass helps burn FAT mass.

Muscle wasting occurs when you sit on a cardio machine for hours, follow a starvation diet, or refuse to engage in an effective resistance training regiment. You'll see movement on the scale but its your precious hard to build MUSCLE gone and wasted. ☹️☹️ congrats, you compounded the problem.

That scale is very deceptive. Not all weight lost is good weight loss. Muscle goes quick when you dont use or feed it. Guess what? Fat gain happens even faster after that.

When you punch that 150 to 200lbs bag; thats resistance training. When you properly place that push kick; thats resistance training. When Osi makes you do 100 squats, 100 lunges, and 625 push ups(he really did😅😅); you're welcome, resistance training.

You know better; do better!!!
