A recent study, led by Dr. Neeraj Patel and colleagues, explored the usefulness of plain radiographs in diagnosing discoid lateral meniscus in children.
Key takeaway: Radiographs are useful for ruling out bony pathology but should not be solely relied upon for diagnosing DLM, especially in younger patients.
