Our next is here! Some all-suture anchors need a deeper insertion than regular screwed or press-fit anchors to fully activate. In areas like the humeral shaft or other narrow cortical bones, the available depth may be too shallow for full deployment.
Dr. Hernandez-Perez recommends angling your drill bit proximally or distally to create enough space for the anchor to fully deploy. A simple adjustment in trajectory can ensure proper activation and secure fixation.
