Happy holidays! We have begun our annual coat drive to support the Covenant House . For 50 years, the Covenant House has advocated for over a million young people who were homeless, runaways, or were trafficked. Not only do they offer housing for these at-risk populations, but they give their residents all the support they need to reconnect, reform, and recover. The Covenant House needs our help more now than ever before. We are accepting NEW coats, gloves, scarves, and hats. Working with college students that aren’t independent is extremely sad. They are overwhelmed by anxiety and depression because they never individuated. Due to their codependency with parents, they are struggling to make it through basic task and do not have the tools. Professionals have to go out of their way to teach adolescent life skills to 18, 19 and 20 year olds.
We help young adults learn life skills while maintaining their dignity.
