The University of Minnesota School of Public Health is again offering its Caring for People with Memory Loss conference this coming Saturday May 30th at 8:30 a.m. This is one of the most helpful events available to learn about dementia, caregiving, coping and related resources.

This week is Mental Health Awareness. Love this idea from Newport Healthcare to "Make Time for Play". This is important at any age but especially adults/older adults as we lose that sense of play.

Play acts as a crucial tool for stress reduction and stimulates the brain when done regularly which can help with one's daily quality of life.
