Lots of flying for Beadner's today. Aaron enjoined 5 days in Michigan. We met him in Omaha today. Tagged and swapped drivers as I boarded a plane to Tucson, AZ. Fun seeing .huizengaa on her way back to school.

I will be an Assistant Trip Leader this week with a group of 53 students from CO, as they serve Tucson with .

Our Iowa home has SOLD and we look forward to the new home God has for us in MN.

Authentic Language for Women’s Health and Fertility.

We are grateful for the voice that has been given back to women through the Creighton Model FertilityCare System!

Women have been give a true, Authentic Language to communicate to trained healthcare professionals who are willing to dig in and find real solutions to the challenges that women are facing in their ovulation cycles.

Ashwood FertilityCare Practitioners have a goal to get this information to as many women and couples as possible!

As we all know; when women speak we should listen up!

Now, women have data and authentic information about their bodies to be shared and will no longer prescribe to the one size fits all healthcare!

Yesterday morning, (2/5) Google photos reminded me that 7 years ago I took the medication to induce the birth of our third baby, Ashley who had had her last heartbeat around 4 weeks earlier.

For 7 years we have remembered this day that always brings so much grief for me as it marks the most traumatic night of my life.

This year was different, after pouring my heart out in worship at church, I was gifted the honor of attending the birth of a beautiful healthy baby girl who was due one week earlier.

You see, I serve a very loving and creative God. I'm learning that He calls us to walk some challenging storms to build our endurance and show His glory.

So, He chose to save this #42 birth which would be my final Doula job for a season, to land on the day that would redeem my terrible birth and loss journey with a birth of wonderful strength and grace.

What an honor it has been to serve all of these mamas and the gift of love that God was able to give me in return.

Thank you all for the privilege of serving you in birth it has been unforgettable!

And I know God isn't finished with me yet, we will see how creative He gets to bring me to serve in my new context.

2023 had a slow start but I finally chose my word of the year.

2022 was "Allow". I believe I was able to focus on allowing God to come in and heal the very deep wounded areas of my heart. Ending the year with a fresh filling of the Holy spirit and a new call to the Mission of God, I have received "FREEDOM".

The Chosen season 3 episode 5 describes this very well. The woman who bled for 12 years ( which is the same amount of time that Jarius's daughter had lived at the point that this woman interrupted Jesus on His way to raise the girl from her death) was so desperate for freedom from the 12 years of searching for answers, seeing doctors, bleeding, and being an outcast. She knew all she needed was to touch the hem of his robe. And even then she was more worried about making Him unclean than what He might be able to do for her.

The healing was instant just as mine was in late, September 2022. I believe Jesus needed me to be desperate for the freedom that I was seeking. When Jesus heals, he changes everything! And would you guess it? After 12 years of living in Orange City my family will serve God in a new location that He has prepared for us before our lives began.

I find myself walking into places that I used to feel too anxious to even enter into. In those moments, I take a breath and hear Him whisper, " You are not the same, you are FREE you don't carry that burden anymore".

After the woman who used to be bleeding, was healed, she cut off her menstrual rags and burned them. And went swimming in FREEDOM!

2023, I thank you for the new adventure of living out my healing in FREEDOM. I know that many people will receive the FREEDOM of Jesus this year because I have thrown off the burdens of anxiety and depression.

Thank you Jesus that I can cast my burdens on you because you care for me.

Tulsa, OK. I did not choose you.

God has chosen you. He wants to redeem you and bring you back to himself.

I spent 5 days in Tulsa meeting with Pastors and Ministry Leaders. We prayed and shared vision and committed to partnership.

This year 14 (or more) Praying Pelican Missions teams will travel to Tulsa to encourage the local church, create long term relationships and sustainable ministry.

Just 2 months ago I applied to work with after a random Google search. Of course nothing is random with God but I stand in awe of God's plans and how when we are willing to say "Here I am God, Send me!" He will do it!

I'm so excited for all that God has in-store for His children that He is pursuing with His great over whelming love.

Aaron and I are celebrating 13 years of marriage on MLK day. We chose the day for the 3 day weekend to celebrate our marriage but then moved to Iowa where the schools don't observe. But, now I will be working in a place (Tulsa) where celebrating MLK holds huge significance and we will soon live in MN where schools observe MLK day as well.

On my way to my first trip to Tulsa to meet with amazing Pastors and Ministry Leaders who will host our teams this year .

I started my day at 4am with a drive to the Sioux Falls airport in very dense fog. There were times that all I could do was say "Jesus light my path" It was pretty scary and yet I made it to The airport at 6:35am for my 7am flight.

I pull into the long term parking and it is full and cars are packed into snow banks. With not much choice I tried to park in the snow and got stuck. I got out to ask for help and there was no one willing. I turned on my hazards and called 9-1-1 as I didn't know how to get airport security. As I was talking a young man showed up at my window with a snow shovel. I tell the dispatcher that I have help. We try to shovel and back out and it's not working.

I call our road side assistance and they tell me it will be $250 to help me! I hit the gas one more time and I'm out! I tell the road side assistance that I don't need them and drive around the parking lot more. I found a spot in a drift that allowed the car half way in the space. I wished my Camry well for the 5 days it would sit there and ran to the terminal.

I get through security after my stropwaffle packaging requires an additional search and I make it to the gate at 7:05 where the plane is deplaning due to maintenance! We took off 2 hours later missed my next flight, rescheduled my ministry meetings and will land in Tulsa tonight (hopefully) at 5:47.
