Personal Assistance Services (PAS) help make employment possible by helping individuals with disabilities. Some people use PAS for the sole purpose of having someone to help them with their activities of daily living such as moving in and out from the bed, personal hygiene, cooking, cleaning, or doing errands. Some people also use PAS in the workplace. Examples of workplace PAS vary, but most likely it involves activities like retrieving materials out of reach or providing travel assistance for an employee with a mobility impairment; assisting someone who has a cognitive disability, reading printed materials to an employee who is visually impaired; or by having an interpreter is present during times of meetings for an employee who is deaf. Regardless of the setting, PAS can be a major key to help find employment success. OUR MISSION
