🩷 🤍 🤎 🍨 Milkshake Monday Fun! 🍨 🤎 🤍🩷

Our seniors had a sweet start to the week, enjoying delicious milkshakes alongside our wonderful volunteers. We had both assisted living and memory care residents joining in on the fun. Smiles, laughter, and milkshake mustaches made for the perfect Monday treat! 🥤

What a Wednesday! Our seniors enjoyed a fun outing to both the Maidu Historical Museum, then Chevy's for lunch.

Back at the community, we learned valuable info during a presentation from Placer County Transportation, then wrapped up the day with an exciting game of Mexican Train that had everyone engaged. A day full of friends, learning, and laughter!

🍉 One day just wasn’t enough! Our seniors love summer’s sweetest treat so much that we turned National Watermelon Day into a full week of juicy, refreshing fun. From chilled slices to creative watermelon-themed activities, it was smiles all around!

💜 Smiles, laughter, and meaningful moments! Our memory care residents had such a wonderful time getting to know our new Activities Assistant, Eva. She was our concierge for a while, and has decided to try something new, using her past teaching skills to bring the residents some creative new ideas! Her kindness, energy, and creativity are already making each day brighter for everyone. Welcome to activities, Eva! Thank you for all you've done in your new role! 💜

In preparation for our upcoming Kentucky Derby game next month, they’ve been crafting colorful horses and dazzling Derby hats! From flowers to flair, each creation is uniquely fabulous—just like the folks who made them. 🐴💐

We absolutely just love it when families participate in our activities with their loved ones. Look at the enthusiasm in the first photo!!

Bingo was a hit today in our dining room with Mark, our bus driver and activity assistant. We even had some new participants!

🐢🎨 Our talented seniors got creative this week, sculpting the cutest little turtles out of air dry clay! With steady hands and big imaginations, these turtle masterpieces are slow and steady—just like the fun we have around here! Tune in for part 2 when we add some color to our creations! 💚🖌️

🌭🎉 We had a sweet time celebrating National Hot Dog Day with our amazing seniors! Instead of the usual savory snack, we flipped the script and made delicious dessert hot dogs—think sweet buns, candy toppings, and lots of smiles. Who says you can't have fun with your food? 💛🍬
