Happy Superbowl Sunday! 🏈

We enjoyed the game tonight with a fun buffet, prepared by our chef Cliff and his lead server Ray. Our activities team put together the drinks and decor to make it festive and enjoyable. We are so happy with the turnout, and new residents trickled in every so often with family members! Go Patriots and Seahawks!

From hands busy with crafts and trying new recipes, to drumming along to music, every activity brought connection, comfort, and plenty of fun. Today we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. His message of kindness, equality, and peace continues to inspire us to treat one another with respect, compassion, and understanding. We learned about this historic man, how he led the country into freedom, and listening to the " I have a dream" speech. 💙

🌏 We have started our first Chair Travel Week of the new year, and it has taken us all the way to China—no passport required!

Today, our seniors enjoyed a Chinese tea tasting experience, sampling 6 fragrant Chinese teas, while learning about the traditions, flavors, and history behind each cup. From floral aromas to smooth, earthy sips, it was a relaxing and engaging way to explore Chinese culture together.

They then traveled virtually to many different parts of China to learn more about the geographic location of the country.

Cheers to new experiences, shared moments, and a journey well traveled—one teacup at a time! 🫖✨
