Gratitude As Your Companion

Today gratitude will be my one constant companion. Regardless of how the ego’s world has programmed me to see and react to it, gratitude will be my one response to everything, everyone, and all. Today every raindrop refreshes me, and every cloud comforts my sight. Today every traffic jam gifts me the time to breathe in deeply and revitalize my body, and every word my sisters and brothers utter is a reminder to me that today I choose to value forgiveness and peace more than judgment and pain. Today I give up of my idea of how people should behave, and what they should say or do, and instead acknowledge that their journey is as sacred to them as mine is to me. Today it is gratitude’s participation in my life that is helping me remember who I truly am and how I want to express myself on this planet.
