Resendez Advocacy - Advocate 4 Kids At Resendez Advocacy, we help families come to agreement with schools regarding special ed services. Julie has also spent many years in administration.

Julie Resendez has over 30 years experience working in public education. Her first role in education was as a general education teacher. Shortly after becoming a general education teacher, she realized her passion for students with unique needs and became a resource teacher. First as a vice principal overseeing site student services programs and then as a district administrator over school distri

ct special education and pupil services. Most recently, she held the position as a superintendent for a school district. Her various roles in education have developed a deep understanding of each level of the education system. Lastly, and most importantly, she is the parent of a child who needed special education services and understands the challenges and fears of navigating the school system.
