We accept most major medical insurances including Kaiser, Sutter, Medicare, Anthem, Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, United Health Care, Western Health Advantage, etc. We also offer affordable rates for those without insurance coverage. Additionally we are open Saturday mornings and we accept walk ins.

Did you know there are alternatives to manual adjustments?

While a majority like the sounds of pops and cracks that come from manual adjustments and manipulations we have other ways to get your joints moving. The instrument above is called an impulse adjusting tool and is similar to an activator tool. Instead of your chiropractor using a hands on adjusting style they can use this tool to get similar results.

It works by your chiropractor putting it on the area of your spine or other joint that needs to be adjusted and with a push of a button it does a quick push or impulse allowing that area to move. By doing this it works similar to manual adjustments by getting movement in that joint which allows you to move more, muscles to relax, and for your pain to go down.

The impulse or activator can be very beneficial for those who aren’t comfortable with hear the popping or cracking or have more soreness with a manual adjustment. It also helpful for those with osteoporosis, those with acute pain, or those with extreme muscle guarding.
