I started Pilates because I realized something simple: we don’t get to graduate from taking care of our bodies.
I was never a runner, and honestly… I needed something that felt sustainable.
Then there was this woman in a community ed Pilates class—basically Helen Mirren (not really, but you know). She was strong, mobile, and moved with ease. I asked her how long she’d been doing Pilates.
“15 years,” she said… and then she practically floated out of the room.
That moment stuck with me. I remember thinking:
👉 I want that.
👉 I want to be doing this when I’m 85… or more.
Pilates completely changed my body.
I felt stronger, had less aches and pain, and actually felt energized after I worked out instead of depleted.
And somewhere along the way, I fell in love with it so much that I knew I had to teach it.
Fast forward 15 years… and here I am.
I’m biased, yes—but truly, find the movement that moves you.
The one that makes you feel strong, capable, and like yourself again.
That’s the one you’ll stick with ❤️
