Contact lenses aren’t a complete vision plan. For those with high prescriptions, the loss of correction can severely limit mobility, awareness, and the ability to read or respond to instructions, making backup glasses especially important.

We were inspired by to provide basic backup glasses to our high-prescription friends on the front lines of the demonstrations, who may be vulnerable to detention or assaulted by chemical agents. If you are primarily a contact lens wearer and cannot afford a backup pair of glasses, we will provide a 141 Eyewear frame and basic polycarbonate lenses (no coatings) at no cost. Please send us a private message to discuss details.
