Communities of Care

Communities of Care We know home care inside and out through personal experience, and we bring that experience and compassion for our clients to work every day!

Inspired by experience. I’m Joan Vaughn, and I created Communities of Care in 1999 to meet my own daughter’s medical and nursing needs. I know first-hand what it is like to be the parent of a medically fragile child. I also know the trials and blessings of having nurses in our home helping take care of my child. Initially, I tried to work with a few local agencies, but they did not supply a qualified staff or follow through on their commitments for coverage. I created Communities of Care as a higher quality of home health care, committed to doing things effectively and professionally. Communities of Care uses a family-centered operating principle: we treat each client family as unique, and design their home care team to meet their individual needs. Let Communities of Care use our history and experience to make your home care experience successful. Experience – We know home care inside and out through personal experience, and we bring that experience and compassion for our clients to work every day!
