When you arrive for your appointment, a nurse will take a small blood sample from your arm (similar to a routine blood test). This usually takes about 5–10 minutes and is generally comfortable. The blood is immediately placed in a centrifuge. Within 10–15 minutes, the machine separates the layers and the PRF clot is ready.
