The University of Minnesota's Autism Program is offering several social skills workshops based on the UCLA PEERS curriculum! The focus of the workshops will be on making and keeping friends.

The 2-day workshops for adolescents and young adults and their caregivers will cover the following topics:

- Friendships

- Conversation Skills

- Get-Togethers

- Sportsmanship

- Conflict Resolution

- Dating



Participants will have opportunities to learn core PEERS skills, practice skills with other participants, and receive PEERS resources.

Workshops will be held from 9 am - 3:30 pm at the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain (MIDB). Breakfast and lunch are provided each day.

The Unversity of Minnesota's Autism Training Program is offering a 2-day workshop on making and maintaining friendships and other social relationships. Instructional methods will include lectures, videos, demonstration of skills, guided practice of skills, and discussion.
