After a summer hiatus, we're thrilled to relaunch our program for Veterans, revamped and ready to empower! 🙌
We're eager to reconnect with our friends from the Warriors Refuge and introduce our innovative Job Skills Program, carefully crafted by Gabe from Warrior Spirit to meet evolving needs. Today marked an exciting orientation day, kicking off an 8-week journey of skill-building and growth. We're grateful for the trust and patience of our community, and we're confident that together, we'll drive positive change and unlock brighter futures.

Rainbow of Hope Texas & Thunder Hooves has been going through a "shifting season", which has been tough. However, our faith remains strong 💪 and we are confident that God will see us through. He has a way of showing up unexpectedly and asking us to take on new challenges. Even when we are unsure, we continue to trust and obey, knowing that God will provide everything we need. This is the promise of the 🌈 Rainbow, and we are grateful for the reminder.

We would also like to thank our community partners, Murdoch's Ranch & Home Supply, for connecting us with a company that donated a welding machine for our upcoming project with the Thunder Hooves Program. We are excited to see how God will continue to work in our lives & those we serve!

🧠💚 Today is PTSD Awareness Day. 💚🧠

At The Warrior’s Refuge, we stand with the countless veterans and service members who fight battles we cannot always see. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a real and serious challenge that affects so many of our heroes long after their time in service.

💚 PTSD does not define them.
💚 It does not make them weak.
💚 It means they’ve carried the weight of experiences most will never fully understand.

Our mission is to provide a safe space for veterans to regroup, rebuild, and reintegrate—with access to housing, counseling, peer support, and the tools needed for healing and growth.

👉 Today, we encourage everyone to learn, listen, and raise awareness. Let’s break the stigma and remind our veterans that they are never alone.
