Often we try to hit the ground running into the new year with all the things we want to do and accomplish. Full steam ahead, all new intentions, projects and goals often feeling conflicted in our energy levels. We naturally want to hibernate, curl up and recalibrate, but we can also feel this sense of urgency to make changes and set a new trajectory.

It is the season of winter, a time of rest and reflection. A time to go within and tend to one’s inner world to truly see the direction we wish to guide ourselves, to see what needs our attention, and to tap into our intuition on how to take action when we finally have clarity.

The full moon in Cancer on January 13th is cultivating just that…..time to rest, digest, reflect and nurture our body, mind and soul. Cancer is the house of family, compassion, nurturing, intuition and sentimentality. It’s no wonder it is the realm of emotions.

Take the energy of winter to begin consciously planting seeds of intention for the new year, new cycle and allowing them to germinate. Come spring they will begin to sprout and take root.

Be clear on your intentions, read the fine print and always keep in mind the saying “be careful what you wish for”
