Combining step tracking with mindfulness training helps exercise motivation. Be present and always strive to control the "here and now" to help find time and energy to become more physically active. Over 1/3 of the population suffers from inactivity - which will lead to disease, illness, orthopedic issues and obesity. Start the new year using a pedometer, an oura ring, fit bit or anything else that will help you take control of your own health and activity levels. We are now in the countdown! Be careful... most weight gain occurs in the last 2 weeks of December. Focus on more activity, over 10,000 steps per day, and being mindful of your food intake - especially when you are NOT at a holiday event.
