🚚💪 Ben and James just picked up 8 pallets of Poplar wood for the shops!

For those who may not know, Poplar is one of the most versatile hardwoods out there. It’s lightweight yet strong, easy to work with, and takes paint and stain beautifully. That makes it a favorite for:

-Cabinetry and furniture
-Interior trim and molding
-Crafts and small woodworking projects
-Painted finishes where a smooth, consistent grain is needed

We can’t wait to see the amazing projects our apprentices create with this fresh haul of material! 🌳🔨

💪 Meet Shayon Lee – Our New Fitness Specialist at Sawdust Marietta! 🏋️‍♂️

Shayon brings 3+ years of experience in the fitness world, with a strong focus on bodybuilding, endurance, and strength training. His passion for helping others crush their goals is unmatched—and now, he's bringing that energy to Sawdust!

Whether our apprentices are looking to bulk up, build endurance, or just feel stronger and more confident in their bodies while leading them to a healthier lifestyle, Shayon’s ready to help them get there.

Photo dump!! Look at all these great projects being finished up.

Our apprentices are hard at work on planning, designing and building their projects for the Blue Stone Arts Festival on Sept 26-27th in Sandy Springs.

Focusing on executive function, problem solving and financial management our apprentices take pride in their work! When a customer buys a project it's a reflection of the apprentices dedication and time that someone can see on display.

We are currently accepting new apprentices for the 2025 school year in Marietta AND Roswell. Have you scheduled your tour?

🚨 BIG NEWS! 🚨

Please join us in giving a HUGE Sawdust OT welcome to our newest Speech-Language Pathologist, Marshall, MS, CCC-SLP! 🙌🎉

Marshall is bringing his A-game this August—and trust us, you're going to love him! With a background in Chicago high schools, adult day programs, and transitional services, he’s a pro at helping teens and young adults build real-world communication skills, self-advocacy, and the confidence to take on life like a boss.

He’s all about connecting with each apprentice on a personal level and using their passions to fuel progress (plus, he makes therapy fun—bonus!). Outside the clinic, he’s a reader, baker, and full-time Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley champ. 🎮

We can’t wait for you to meet him. August can’t come fast enough!

🚗⚒️ You've seen him around and now meet Chris – the latest member of the Sawdust OT team!

Chris brings a powerhouse of passion and purpose to our clinic, with a BA in Kinesiology from Columbus State and a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Brenau University. He’s excited to focus on pediatric and older adult care and is all about building strong connections with our apprentices, families, and caregivers to help every individual thrive. 💪

When he’s not in the clinic, you’ll find Chris cheering on the Green Bay Packers 🧀, fixing up cars 🛠️, or enjoying quality time with his family. He’s especially thrilled to blend his love of all things automotive with hands-on OT work here at Sawdust.

Help us give Chris a warm welcome as he drives full speed into this new chapter! 🏁✨
