Happy Sunday! Below is the weekly Health Update from SmartMED, which shows the positivity testing rates for this past week. As a partner of CHOA, we also have access to their testing results as well. They are seeing similar results, but with Rhinovirus/Enterovirus being the most common virus testing positive.

As you may be seeing from the news, this Flu season has started, with Flu A being the most predominant. We’ve also seen Flu B, Covid and RSV.
Please keep washing those hands and cover your mouth when coughing! 🧼🦠

Local Health Update! While Flu has certainly been in the mix this past week, strep is still the most prevalent diagnosis. Sometimes strep can resolve on its own, but often it will need an antibiotic to clear.
If you have a sore throat, white patches on your tonsils, nausea, fever or headache, it’s possible that you have strep throat. Drive in to SmartMED where we can diagnose and treat within 15 minutes. ⏰
