When you find yourself thinking that you "need" a drink or a drug, consider that our species--Homo Sapiens--has been around for 300,000 years. And yet we've only used alcohol or other drugs for the past 6,000 to 10,000 years. So mind-altering substances are NOT a requirement for living! Happy Memorial Day everyone, and here's to a safe and sober one!
