Our team is gearing up to brave the icy waters for the Alpharetta Polar Bear Plunge on February 7th at 10:00 AM at Wills Park Pool in Alpharetta. This marks our 5th year participating, and we’re once again plunging with our “Shivering for Seniors” team to support Senior Services North Fulton (SSNF).
This fundraiser helps provide vital support for programs that make a real difference for our senior neighbors, including Meals on Wheels, medical transportation, and homelessness prevention. We even help care for seniors’ beloved pets by delivering free pet
food through our Meals on Wheels for Pets program.
This year’s plunge is extra meaningful as it serves as the first fundraiser celebrating SSNF’s 35th Anniversary. Our theme says it best: “Shine the Light – Celebrating 35 Years of Caring for Our Seniors.”
To honor this milestone, we invite you to consider supporting our plunge with a $35 donation (or more!)—a simple way to celebrate 35 years of impact and help us continue serving seniors in our community.
Not interested in jumping into freezing water? No problem! This is a fantastic spectator event filled with costumes, energy, and plenty of cold-weather craziness—come cheer us on.
