Thankful to Dr. Loritts for speaking to the Georgia Christian Counselors Association this week.

When the “gut punches” come -
1. Choose truth - put it in the context of who God is
2. Choose Joy - rejoicing is not circumstantial, it’s lodged in permanence
3. Choose Faith - it’s not a denial of circumstance, but it’s a desperation for God; it doesn’t exist a-part from deprivation
4. Choose Community - bear one another’s burdens; isolation always, always, always breeds distorted thinking
5. Choose Service - we have to keep moving so choose service; Psalm 126 tears become holy fertilizer in a parched desert land that will produce a bountiful crop; you don’t feel like taking a step, but you have to keep going

The Georgia Christian Counselors Association exists to Educate, Equip and Encourage Christian counselors, therapists, coaches, chaplains and those in ministry. We are thankful for Dr. Loritts encouragement this month.

The Generational Wall.
Dad loved his patients well. His trustworthiness and the removing of nerve interference ushered in an office full of patients each day. It energized him as he helped others. My brother and I were honored this week with the unveiling of our Generational Plaques at Life University. Helping others. Teaching others. Allowing healing from Above Down Inside Out. Dad would be proud.
