Our Story

"I grew up in the environs of my mother’s hair salon. My mother is a hair stylist and esthetician, but her passion was the art of hair styling! Since I was little kid,” says Valeria, “she tried very hard to teach me how to work with hair, but I never showed much interest in this area. By the time I reached 16, my mom noticed that I really enjoyed watching her doing facials and makeup, so she started teaching me the craft of skin care. I had found mypassion! The invaluable, basic on-the-job practices I learned about skin care I learned in Brazil from my beloved mother!” Over the next two years Valeria continued her formal schooling on skin care Brazilian style. "It was an amazing time for me," remembers Valeria, "because I already had two rewarding years experience at the apprenticeship level!" Since then, Valeria has never stopped practicing her art, always moving forward in pursuit of an ever-growing expertise in her passion of esthetics through skin care. Coming to the United States in 2001 she learned English and attended advanced classes at one of the finer skin care schools in the south. "It was awesome coming from Brazil, a place well-known for its expertise in the expression and enhancement of physical beauty. With my Brazilian experience, all I had to do now was practice my craft.”
