Dear valued patients:
We know it’s been a while you last heard from us. We hope that you and your families have been well.
After great deliberation, and with the safety of both our patients and staff in mind, we have made the decision to re-open our waiting room April 4, 2022.
We are fully aware that reopening the Smith & Rockefeller waiting room is a sensitive topic for many. While many are rejoicing at no longer having to wait in their vehicle and calling or texting to enter our building, we also know many would prefer to wait in their vehicle. In establishing new protocol, there may be challenges. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding with our decision.
Starting April 4, 2022, the following protocol will be observed:
• The door will remain unlocked during normal business hours, with the exception of our lunch hour, which is from 12:00pm to 1:00pm Monday through Thursday.
• We ask each patient enter the building and sign in on our sign-in sheet and indicate by their name if they will be waiting for their appointment provider inside or outside. Your provider will get you for your appointment, regardless of where you choose to wait. You will no longer need to call or text to let us know you are here for your appointment.
• Face masks will be encouraged to be worn inside the building until your appointment time, but it will no longer be mandatory. Our staff, of course, will continue to wear the appropriate PPE for their position.
• We kindly request limiting building entrants to the appointed party only.
• If you are ill, please call to reschedule your appointment.
• Please respect each person’s decision to wait where they choose, and whether or not they choose to wear a face mask.
Thank you for supporting us and allowing us to care for you during this unprecedent season of life. As we have stated before, we have been privileged to serve this amazing community for 43 years, and our number one priority has, and always will be, the safety and well-being of our patients and staff. You are the heart of Smith & Rockefeller, and we know we wouldn’t be here without you.
If you have questions or concerns, please call us at (770) 992-7550 or e-mail us at office@smithandrockefeller.com. We will do our best to assist you as soon as possible.
Warmest regards,
The Doctors and Staff of Smith & Rockefeller
