Elizabeth is an experienced healer, intuitive, adventurer, and highly sensitive human. She’s lead an eclectic and diversified life and has lived, worked, and studied in various countries from China to New Zealand. She’s dedicated most of her life to the field of women’s issues from breast challenges (pains and lumps) to womb and pelvic floor care and concerns. She’s personally cured herself of PCOS, painful periods, chronic constipation, chronic low back ache, a retroverted/backwards uterus (her uterus now sits forward!), and cervical dysplasia, which almost turned into cervical cancer back in her 20's). She's healed herself with the various modalities she’s now trained in and offers to her clients with the hopes of using her years of experience to help lessens other's suffering and learning curve, especially when faced with challenges. Some of the modalities Elizabeth has trained in include energy medicine, birth work ( she's a certified doula but doesn't currently practice), holistic pelvic floor care, remedial massage, trauma and emotional release work, and various structural corrective belly/body, and pelvic therapies. One of these belly therapies is Arvigo® Maya Abdominal Therapy. She practices her hands on therapies under her Georgia massage therapy license ( -2449) and she is also an ordained Minister. Overall, Elizabeth is an avid learner, nature lover, gardener, and athlete ( her current athletic pursuits include martial arts) who has over 15 years clinical hands on experience working with folks from all walks of life. Elizabeth especially enjoys working with women, children, and anyone that classifies as a highly sensitive being, or whom doesn't seem to fit the standard mold of society. If you’d like to learn more about her credentials, workshops/presentations, or speaking experience, you can explore more on this website. You can read more about Elizabeth at www.BellyAndBodyCare.com

I’ve worn many hats in my life to date, but a few things has remained consistent throughout.
1) A lifelong compulsion to study healing arts, ever since I was very young.
2) A deep care and concern for the wellbeing of people and the natural world. I feel deeply and for more than half of my life I thought this was my weakness. However, I now know this is one of my greatest gifts. I’m an kinesthetic, meaning I literally ‘feel’ when I touch or work on bodies, the stories, impressions, and restrictions. Sometimes when I stand near someone or in a certain place I get impressions/feelings too. I just feel and know things in my body but I also pull from a wide variety of experience and trainings. Often when I work on people, parts of their body literally jump out to me in my line of sight or it’s like I can hear the body pulling me into certain areas and telling me what is required for physical healing. I channel my feeling and kinesthetic gifts, along with nearly 20 years of experience to be of better service when I literally work or when speaking/presenting.
3) A meticulousness in my work, bordering on OCD. I actually was more OCD in my younger days but now channel my OCD tendencies with laser like focus to get a job done as efficiently and lovingly as possible. In the DiSC professional profile I’m a C (Conscientious) personality type, meaning I like to get straight to the point and doing a good job with a high regard to details is a major driver for me. My clients often describe me as meticulous or thorough. Often they say I was the only therapist they’ve worked with that could get into a spot just the right way, or even at all. Many more, commenting I was the first person to really listen and pay attention.
My goal is to do my best to undo what ever the problem area/restriction is, so the body can take over to restore freedom and harmony within. I like to say I’m just lending a literally helping hand.
Combine these three character traits and you have a wellness provider that is caring, thorough, and very experienced.
My specialty is working with women’s issues especially related to belly, pelvic, and reproductive health (at any age), and trauma release work through body work. I’m also one of only a handful of practitioners highly trained in abdominal therapy (including Arvigo® Maya Abdominal Therapy, Chi Nei Tsang, & The Gentling Way). My work is done either through direct hands on work, group teaching/presenting, and/or one-on-one private consultation.
