The US uses chemicals in food production that are banned in multiple other countries 🇺🇸Section 453 of the Appropriations bill would have protected companies from liability even when pesticide ingredients are later discovered to be harmful if their labels originally agreed with FDA standards, even when those standards change over time. Thanks to and other grass roots organizations the section was removed from the bill.
