Wednesday night, the dining room was filled with holiday cheer and eager anticipation for the Vickery Rose Tree lighting. The dining room shouted Merry Christmas & Happy Hanukkah, and the big tree in the back dining room was lit, and the Vickery Rose choir sang. Everyone was invited to go to the lounge afterwards for eggnog and cookies. They will be singing every Wednesday up until Christmas Eve.

We recently celebrated a truly remarkable milestone! A beloved resident, a wonderful lady, celebrated her 100th birthday just last week. The staff and fellow residents came together to honor her, creating a special song for the occasion. They chose the tune of "She'll be Coming Around the Mountain" and adapted the lyrics to reflect her unique personality. Considering she hails from Tennessee, the song choice felt particularly appropriate. Bonnie, as everyone knows, has a passion for golf, a sweet tooth for ice cream, and a knack for bringing joy to those around her. We all hoped to bring a smile to her face this time! Our talented Sous Chef outdid themselves, crafting a spectacular golf course-themed cake. It was a real home run!
