💪 Shoulder work for this client for his early onset frozen shoulder.
✅ In this session, we did a combo of dynamic cupping, static cupping, gliding cupping, active release techniques, and manual lymphatic drainage.
✅ We had to also work into the neck, chest, ribcage, and back . . . Because it's never just one joint that needs attention.

🌟 One of the things that makes our clinic unique is that our providers combine our knowledge and skills to get clients real results.

Today, we did another tandem session for a client to help her with pain that she had been suffering from for years.

She had seen many other different providers before, including PT, chiropractic, pelvic floor PT, and doctors and nothing got rid of this abdominal pain.

🙌 What she needed in our office: A combination of orthopedic soft tissue work, structural realignment, and visceral abdominal work.

📝 What she'll need to do to help herself heal: reduce systemic inflammation through dietary changes, distasis recti rehab exercises, and a few other corrective exercises.

We explain this concept to runners often.

Here's the thing 👉 The site of pain is usually NOT the problem, it's usually the SYMPTOM of problem(s) elsewhere in your body.

💲 You can go to Ortho or PT all day - BUT if your provider is using your insurance, they are forced to focus on that joint area and they cannot look at your WHOLE BODY to find the root cause of your issue. We don't work with insurance, so we can look at the entire kinetic chain.

✅ Gotta understand the patterns if you're truly going to rehab your structural dysfunction. 👏👏👏

Luckily, they were alive! But seriously, though, this actually happened to us this week 😨. They were awake when we left the treatment room, then we knocked on the door to check on them 15 minutes later and asleep. Woke them up gently and left the room. Another 10 minutes later, knocked on the door to check on them again and they were out cold. No shaking woke them up. Checked for pulse 🫀 - beating. Shook vigorously and called their name loud! They woke up shocked. We were shocked, too. 🤦‍♀️

People with hyper mobility disorders or with autoimmune conditions know how difficult it is to find practitioners who understand their symptoms and know how to work with them. We take our time when we work with you and adjust our treatments based on flare ups and ever-changing symptoms.
