Luckily, they were alive! But seriously, though, this actually happened to us this week 😨. They were awake when we left the treatment room, then we knocked on the door to check on them 15 minutes later and asleep. Woke them up gently and left the room. Another 10 minutes later, knocked on the door to check on them again and they were out cold. No shaking woke them up. Checked for pulse 🫀 - beating. Shook vigorously and called their name loud! They woke up shocked. We were shocked, too. 🤦‍♀️

People with hyper mobility disorders or with autoimmune conditions know how difficult it is to find practitioners who understand their symptoms and know how to work with them. We take our time when we work with you and adjust our treatments based on flare ups and ever-changing symptoms.

🥳 Yay! Our massage therapist, Derrick, is back at the gym after almost an entire year away.
💥 Last year, he suffered with back pain while his lumbar herniation took a time to heal. When you're an active individual, it's difficult to accept that your body needs time off. He had some rough days last year with pain rehabilitation, but he never gave up. He started with gentle yoga, then bodyweight exercises, and now he's back at weight training.
❤️ We're proud of Derrick for making it to the other side of pain and getting back to work to be a healthy, strong, and happy person.
🎙️ These are the stories that we preach here at Kraken - we understand pain because we've lived it. We see clients in pain every week in our clinic and we get them through to the other side of it - one step at a time! You can do it. We can do it. Keep going!
